INTERIOR DESIGN
The PGA Shop in Frisco, Texas, is a unique retail store designed to provide an immersive and personalized shopping experience for golf enthusiasts. The store is a collaborative effort between Omni Hotels & Resorts and PGA of America, aiming to create a one-of-a-kind space that stands out from typical pro-shops found at golf courses. The concept behind the retail store is to provide a unique and personalized shopping experience that focuses on merchandise from each of the four PGA tournaments – Men’s, Women’s, Senior, and Junior – as well as products related to the newly opened Fields Ranch Golf Course.

With a progressive approach to an otherwise traditional experience for a "Golf Store", we began with detailing the walls with White Oak paneling and a modernized tartan grass cloth wallcovering that effectively resonates with the classic elements often associated with sport. For an eye-level customer experience the team has coordinated black steel-framed shelving and LEDs to display merchandise in an sophisticated display. Moreover, the store incorporates the signature PGA of America Blue as custom millwork and design accents. This serves multiple purposes in aligning with the PGA's brand identity as well as complimenting the surround Hotel Campus.
From the exterior Patrons are invited to interact with the FotoMaster Tower Mirror Booth which simulates oneself “holding” a Championship trophy or with a super-imposed PGA Champion selfie. The Stores customization bar truly reads as an almost-hotel-bar, wrapped in a powder blue tile, poured terrazzo floor and custom three-tiered brass light suspended above. A wood-framed, glass display for golf ball Customization and an embroidery machine for Polo personalization serves as an elegant piece of live art for patrons. The seamlessly designed back bar made it possible to serve Arnold Palmer drinks "on-tap" which is truly the icing on the cake for the golf savvy clientele.
